Associates in Dermatology, based in Westlake, Lorain and Middleburg Heights, OH has been a leading dermatology care center in Ohio. The company has stood current with technological and academic advancements and has served skin patients with high quality care and services. The team of doctors at Associates in Dermatology have great experience in

skin care and their services include diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails.

Need

With an emphasis on offering quality skin treatment services, the focus was to develop a spotless website which shows their high quality services. The essence of the architecture was to bring forth the finesse with which the doctors at Associates in Dermatology were able to deal with patients’ physiological condition. Their current website was miserable at this and was not able to establish a brand identity for Associates in Dermatology hence a website redesign effort.

Solution

Detailed requirements were generates and our project manager discussed in details with the doctors at Associates in Dermatology. After understanding their goals, Ocular Concepts developed a blueprint that laid out our approach to achieving their objectives. Ocular Concepts designed a website that was easy to navigate with diseases and conditions tied separately under different menu items. The site is easy to update and the Associates in Dermatology can easily update the conditions, products and the galleries.

The content and images for different diseases was varied and it was not possible for us to have one type of page which covers all of them. When we chose Drupal as the preferred content management system for the Associates in Dermatology website, we developed a custom theme and designed many pages that were custom designed rather than just filling the content. There were at least four different types of pages that could be newly created and we gave an option to the admin to “Create a new page like this”!

Our web designers also designed a gallery for the client to upload the images of their offices, pictures of their doctors and patient treatments. Now using the Drupal user, we also created multiple logins for doctors at Associates in Dermatology to manage their products and diseases. New products could be added seamlessly to the website and the client was happy with this implementation as things that would have taken days, is now taking minutes.

The result?

A classy, slick and modern looking website that reflects the quality treatment which Associates in Dermatology has to offer to its clients in North East Ohio. The website is easily manageable and each and every page can be edited.
